Wonder why I never have gotten the Susanna Hoffs thing. At any rate, Kirsty's original is to me too perfect for any covers to succeed. The wispy girlishness of her voice preserves the innocence of this song, with just enough naughtiness at the edge. I would play this in tandem with Tommy James and the Shondells' "I Think We're Alone Now" -- catching budding sexuality right on the cusp.
